A large scale open space located at the centre of Kharghar node, Navi Mumbai city and also the Mumbai Metropolitan Region was identified for the development of Central Park. It spreads over an area of around 80 Ha in Sectors 23, 24 & 25. It is a virtually link between the hills dotting Kharghar & the creek. A natural channel runs from hills to creek with fully grown trees and vegetation at sporadic locations.This picturesque setting is ideal for a city level park of international level.It accommodates diverse functions of active and passive recreations starting from Jogger’s Tracks, Botanical Gardens, Amphitheatre and Theme Parks to a full fledged Sports Stadium.
